Why You Need To Unplug And Detach When You Have The Most Demands

Go and escape to the desert, mountains, or the beach. Right now.

That might seem a ridiculous thing to do if you are mid product launch, acquisition craziness, or preparing for your sales kick off or customer events.

Planning away time, downtime, unplugged time is an essential way to keep going through your most demanding times.

I had a book deadline to write my second book in four months. I had hit that deadline before with my first book so I knew it was possible, but my incentive was booking a long weekend in Palm Springs with my girlfriends as soon as I had submitted my manuscript to my publisher.

It would have been easy to delay, as I prepare for the fall conference season for my speaking and prepare all of the launch events for my book but as I lie by the pool with my closest girlfriends, I realize this was just what I needed.

When is your next friends break planned for?

Dedicated to growing your business,

Val
